They just make up another story about a trucker named Rusty Nail terrorizing some friends. I hate that movie, and it doesn’t have any of the same characters.
Joy ride 3 roadkill movie#
This movie had a “sequel” in 2008, which was Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead. The brothers thought that Rusty Nail died, but as the movie concluded, Rusty Nail spoke on the CB, and Lewis, Venna, and Fuller were mindblown. Eventually, they were able to rescue Venna and get rid of Rusty Nail… for the moment. This turned into a disaster for Lewis and Fuller, as they did whatever they could to get Venna back. On their way back home, Rusty Nail took the terrorizing to another level and kidnapped Venna while she was in a separate motel room. The terrorizing progressed all the way to Colorado, and it continued even after they picked up Venna. Unfortunately, they ended up joking with the wrong trucker (Rusty Nail), and they were eventually terrorized for it. They got a CB-radio installed on the way and started joking around with truckers. He did, and then his brother joined him on his road trip to Colorado. So Lewis felt obligated to go bail his brother out of jail. While on his way, he gets a call from his mother saying that his older brother, Fuller (Steve Zahn), was in jail again. Lewis (Paul Walker) is planning on taking a cross-country road trip to pick up his wannabe girlfriend, Venna (Leelee Sobieski). I don’t want to spoil the movie for any of you guys that want to watch it, but the movie is simply great. Joy Ride is a suspense/thriller movie, and it consists of many famous actors like Paul Walker, (his brother in the movie) Steve Zahn, and Leelee Sobieski. I don’t know what it is about the movie I have just loved watching it ever since the first time I watched it 14 years ago.

Yeah, Joy Ride is that movie in my opinion. Everyone has that one movie that they can watch over and over and it will never get old.

I currently have the DVD, and I have it recorded on my TV so I basically watch it like twice a week. The movie “Joy Ride” has been my favorite movie since the moment it was released in 2001. This is a picture of the newest DVD version of the film Joy Ride, featuring the main characters Paul Walker (left), Leelee Sobieski (middle), and Steve Zahn (right).
